Title
Hazards to Effective Pastoral Counseling: Part Two
Abstract

The contemporary pastor is doing more and more counseling. There is a very realistic need in our society for someone who understands how life should be put together for fulfillment in living. The pastor has answers from the Bible and insight derived from the doctrines of Scripture and is constantly learning more about how God intended man to think and live. But the pastoral counselor is confronted with certain hazards, which interfere with his effectiveness. Ten hazards are discussed and suggestions are offered which are intended to help the pastor avoid these dangers and counsel more effectively.
