Students and the Church

From: Volume 5NS, Issue 1: Spring 2001 Pages 83-101

Abstract

As the United States becomes an increasingly secularized society, even Christian college students are withdrawing from participation in the local church. Bruce Kreutzer studies 112 undergraduate students involved with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship to determine their religious orientation, religious beliefs, and attitudes towards the church, and then to determine also if any correlation exists between these three factors. The results provide helpful insight into the attitudes of college students who profess faith in Christ towards the local church.
