Moral Maturity and Christian Parenting

From: Volume IX, Issue 2: Winter 1989 Pages 83-94

Abstract

Parenting that is effective in communicating the faith and in encouraging moral development is examined. A study of the moral maturity of evangelical students and the practices of instilling the faith used by their parents is described. Implications of the study suggest that a socialization-approach to the faith in the home is significantly related to mature moral reasoning in children.
