Humanism in American Christian Education

Abstract

The influx of humanistic methodology in the American educational system has given rise to considerable tension within the Christian community in recent years. This education trend has influenced many of our church schools as well. This article takes a close look into the definition, historical development, and current practices of humanistic educational methods employed in America today.
