A Contextualized/Transactional Model for Leadership Development

Abstract

Leadership development is a continual concern of the church. This article develops a model based upon the author's experience, the Scriptures, and secular adult education literature. The author advocates developing leaders within a local church's context through a process negotiated (transacted) between the learners and the developer.
